New York has been cancelled…
Philadephia is up!
The New York City Spring trip scheduled for April 9th through April 12th has been cancelled due to insufficient participation.
Another opportunity is on the horizon for students and families! Through World Strides On Stage Programs participation in the Philadelphia Heritage Festival from April 2nd through April 5th is an option. The approximate cost of this trip is $600.
The cost of this exciting trip includes:
- Performance in a national music festival;
- Positive, constructive feedback from a panel of three adjudicators;
- On-stage clinic with renowned adjudicator following each performance;
- Guided city walking tour including 20 of the most historical sites;
- Admission to National Constitution Center;
- Awards Ceremony;
- Master class experience;
- Ride the Ducks; and
Students who already turned in a permission slip and an initial payment for the NYC trip and are still interested DO NOT need to do anything. If an initial payment was submitted for NYC but you are NOT interested in the Philadelphia option, please reach out to email@example.com for a refund of your deposit.
Students and families who did NOT sign up for the NYC trip but desire to attend the Philadelphia option; need to return and sign permission slip enclosed by January 10th for the latest. A deposit of $150 is still needed to ensure a spot is held.
Full payment details will follow soon thereafter for everyone, however, we need to determine the interest and commitment. Please note, in order for this trip to occur, at least three (3) chaperones are needed.
Note that students must be current with all of their music fees and obligations in order to participate in the Spring Trip.
Ways to Pay
Pay By Check: Please make checks payable to “South River Music Boosters” with “Spring Trip” and your student’s FULL name on the memo line. Place checks in an envelope with “Spring Trip” and your student’s name on the outside and deposit the envelope in the locked mailbox outside the Music office.
Pay By PayPal: Starting this year, you may make payments to the South River Music Boosters via PayPal. Please include your child’s name and Spring Trip in the comments/notes section.
The Music Boosters will be financially obligated on your behalf. The $150 initial payment is a non-refundable deposit and will only be returned in the event that the trip is canceled by the South River Music Boosters.
