The South River Music Program includes Chorus, Marching Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Piano, Music Theory, Musical Theater Club, and Tri-M. All of these programs are supported by the Music Boosters.

Kristin Barker’s Superior rating singing, “Après Un Rêve,” by Gabriel Fauré
Madeline Loughlin’s Superior rating singing, “Laurie’s Song,” from the Opera A Tender Land by Aaron Copland
Both solos are Grade 6 difficulty, the most advanced level of repertoire approved for adjudication by the Maryland Music Educators Association. Both Madeline and Kristin have earned distinction to advance to the State Solo & Ensemble Festival held later this spring!
