2019-2020 Chorus Schedule

The NEST Chorus schedule, that begins the week of September 16th, is as follows:
Mondays:

  • Blue Block- Show Choir
  • Silver Block- A Capella

Tuesdays

  • Blue Block- All County Practice
  • Silver Block- Treble Chorus

Wednesdays

  • Reserved for Tri-M

Thursdays

  • Blue Block- All State Practice
  • Silver Block- TB Chorus

Fridays 

  • Silver Block- Mixed Chorus

Regular Rehearsals

The NEST Chorus schedule, that begins the week of September 16th, is as follows:
Mondays:
– A Capella (Silver Block)
Tuesdays:
– All County Chorus Audition Practice (Blue Block)
– Treble Chorus (Silver Block)
Wednesdays:
– Reserved for Tri-M
– (Possible Show Choir rehearsal depending on interest)
Thursdays:
– All State Chorus Audition Practice (Blue Block)
– TB Chorus (Men’s Chorus) (Silver Block)
Fridays:
– Mixed Chorus (Silver Block).

Monthly Calendar

September

  • 3-4 – Chorus students will perform the Star Spangled Banner for the start of the First Day of School
    • Please meet at 7:15am in the chorus room.
  • 12 – Back to School Night 6:00pm
    • Event Table
  • 20 – All County Chorus Forms Due
  • 27 – Festival Latino
  • 27 – Junior All State Chorus Forms Due

October

  • 4 – Senior All State Chorus Forms Due
  • 4 – Chorus Sings Star Spangled Banner at Homecoming
  • 5 – Homecoming Dance
  • 7 – All County Chorus Auditions 3:30-5:30 at Severna Park HS

November

  • 1 – All County Chorus Rehearsal 8:30-3:30
  • 2 – All County Chorus Rehearsal/Performance 3:00-5:00 / 7:00
  • 16 – Junior All State Choral Auditions
  • 21 – Chorus Feeder Rehearsal/Concert 3:30-8:00 / 6:30
  • 23 – Senior All State Choral Auditions

December

  • 11 – BSO Side-by-Side Field Trip Concert
  • 19 – Winter Chorus Concert 2:30-7:00 / 6:00
  • TBD – Caroling

January

  • TBD – Chorus Feeder Concert

March

  • 3 – AACPS Choral Festival
  • 16 – Chorus Festival

April

  • 30 – End of the Year Chorus Concert

  • 18 – Music Department Senior Banquet

  • 1 – Graduation at Maryland Live! Casino & Hotel 5:00pm
